> ITINERARY
Take the H465 "Grands Défens" trail up towards the TDF antenna, which you reach after 600m, then continue for another 500m to the next junction.
Turn left to climb the ridge and reach the DFCI (fire-fighting) observation post.
After the post, continue on a narrower path that descends sharply to the edge of the quarry.
Join the main track (don't take it), stay a few dozen metres to the left, alongside the quarry, then take the clearly visible path through the heather, first overhanging, then continuing on your left in a steep descent, for 300m.
At the bottom, turn left into the valley, cross the ford and join the Vallon d'Aiguebonne trail.

Turn left onto the track (H462 "Petits Caous"), which climbs gently to the next crossroads. Continue straight on for 600m, then turn right to cross another ford. Continue up the slope, forking right, then left at the overhang.
You'll reach a new crossroads of tracks, so take the one in front of you. The track then climbs for 500m towards the water tower. Continue for a few hundred meters to reach the viewpoint.
Turn back to return to the Vallon d'Aiguebonne ford.
Do not take the uphill path, but continue on the lower track. You'll come to a small macadamized road.
Turn right onto the pretty path that runs alongside the road for 700m.
You'll reach the Crapa (sportive track) walking area, and pass its small pond. You can then stay on the main track or take the path on the right, which follows the same route, just above it.
At the end, at the hairpin bend, take the shortcut to the right, which takes you back to the starting point.

> Be prepared: in summer, when it's hot and mistral winds are blowing, the Massif may be closed due to fire risks. Please refer to the "practical information" section for the daily situation.
