Lionel, a divorced single father, is summoned to his son's school after an art class, on the pretext that one of his drawings, according to the teacher, is a little too "thingy".

Between shock and anger at the arguments he finds absurd for condemning an 8-year-old boy, Lionel does everything he can to shake the teacher's certainties. This tough first meeting marks the start of a series of encounters between the parent and the teacher that will take them where they least expect it.
