Synopsis of the Play
Warning: A movie—even one watched on TV—can change your life! Didier and Karine will learn this the hard way. Will this young couple—though very close—be able to resist “time, which plays its part and does its work”? She dreams of experiencing a passion like Meryl Streep’s in Clint Eastwood’s romantic drama *The Bridges of Madison County*; he tries to understand, to go along with her whims… To no avail!

There’s a huge difference between movie romance and everyday life. But, as Eric Assous whispers to us, reality can be even more beautiful. An ode to life, to women and men—“opposites, certainly, but so complementary.”
