Cap Roux Protected Fishery Zone

The Cap Roux zone was chosen because of its biodiversity to allow fish reproduction (to increase the wealth of species and the quantity in both weight and size). Its success comes from the presence of habitat, no fishing allowed, respecting the rules and leaving time to take its course . Its surface area, about 1.6 sq miles, is today the largest zone of high protection (all forms of fishing forbidden) around the French coast.

ALL FORMS OF FISHING ARE PROHIBITED
(professional, leisure, sea urchins, underwater, line)

Help us to protect the sea and its resources.
